Tea and Technology Salons
Join us for tea and scones while learning about commonly used applications for engaging students, enhancing classroom instruction and creating multimedia projects led by Faculty members, Library and IT staff, and D-Center tutors.

All sessions are on Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m., with a repeat performance on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Center for Digital and Visual Literacy

The Art of Video-Editing using iMovie
March 23rd @ 2 p.m.
This workshop will cover the basics of making a great looking original video for your class project using iMovie. Learn how to import video from cameras and iOS devices, organize clips into a narrative, trim away unwanted footage or insert clips, and add transitions, photos, titles, and other special effects.

Google Forms
March 30th @ 2 p.m.
Google Forms is an easy and quick way to create a survey on-the-fly and tabulate results in real time. Learn how to gather in-class feedback or create a digital rubric that you can use to assess student projects/presentations for immediate feedback.

April 6, 13th, and 20th @ 2 p.m.
Ask our knowledgable Information Technology staff members questions you have about IT-related topics such as programming, campus wireless, network infrastructure, Google Apps, Email etc. We will feature a “live” staff member to host your specific questions in real time about IT@ ASC.
